Description

Evage Elevate™ is a specially developed basic supplement for athletes in strength and endurance sports whose performance heavily relies on a stable cellular energy supply.

The formula delivers 100 mg of Ubiquinol (QH) from Kaneka™, the bioactive form of coenzyme Q10, which is directly available in the body and plays a central role in energy metabolism.

Ubiquinol supports the function of mitochondria – the powerhouses of our cells, where food is converted into ATP, the most important energy source for muscles. Since the body's own production of Q10 gradually decreases from around the age of 40, Evage Elevate can help support energy production, vitality, and regeneration during training and competition.

Sports

Specifically developed for strength sports, fitness, combat sports, and high-intensity hybrid training. For exactly these purposes, Evage QH combines Kaneka Ubiquinol™ (QH) to support mitochondrial energy production with a focus on cellular regeneration, performance, and long-term resilience – as a daily routine for performance, recovery, and athletic longevity.

Particularly suitable for:

Strength Training & Bodybuilding
Functional Fitness & CrossFit
Hyrox & Hybrid Training
Weightlifting & Powerlifting
Combat Sports & MMA
Boxing & Kickboxing
Sprint & Explosive Sports
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
Fitness & Athletic Training
Bootcamp & Conditioning
Intensive Training Phases
Double Sessions & High Training Volumes
Competition Preparation
Recovery after Intense Exertion
Performance-Oriented Daily Life & High Physical Demands

Effect

Q10 (Coenzyme Q10) is a vitamin-like substance that occurs naturally in the body. QH (Ubiquinol) is its reduced, directly available form of Q10 (bioactive form).

Energy System Support – Ubiquinol (QH) is the bioactive form of Q10: designed for periods of high stress (training block, competition, stressful weeks)
Muscle Support for Intense Workouts – especially suitable for strength training, CrossFit/HIIT, functional fitness and "hybrid" training (strength and cardio) as well as for other strength-intensive sports
Cell Protection Focus – interesting as an antioxidant component when many hard sessions and few breaks come together
Recovery-oriented instead of pre-workout – not "noticeably stimulating," but rather maintaining constant resilience
For athlete stress – when training is good, but sleep/daily life are not always perfect.

Studies

Coenzyme Q10 was discovered in 1957 and has long been discussed, particularly in the context of cardiovascular health. It is also relevant when taking cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins), because statins can inhibit the body's own Q10 synthesis. Therefore, Q10 is often supplemented as an accompanying measure for statins.

For athletes, Q10/QH is interesting because it is part of mitochondrial energy production and is considered in the context of stress/oxidative stress & regeneration.

In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 100 young, well-trained German athletes received either 300 mg of ubiquinol (QH) or a placebo daily over a period of six weeks. Athletic performance was measured by maximum power (watts per kilogram of body weight) on a bicycle ergometer.

Although both groups improved with training, the ubiquinol group showed a significantly greater increase in performance compared to the placebo group. Active ingredient

Kaneka™ Ubiquinol QH

QH, the active form of coenzyme Q10, manufactured by the Japanese active ingredient specialist Kaneka Ubiquinol and contained in Evage Elevate™, is in its natural form a central component of cellular energy production. Coenzyme Q10 plays a crucial role in the mitochondria, the "powerhouses" of our cells, which supply muscles with energy. In athletes, maintaining their function helps support cellular energy production, counteract oxidative stress from training, and ultimately promote performance and regeneration.

Athletic Longevity by Evage™

For endurance, agility, focus, and strength

Developed by athletes for athletes: Evage's scientifically-backed formulations are specifically designed to support endurance, mental focus, mobility, and cellular health – the foundation for long-term athletic performance and healthy aging.

What does "Athletic Longevity" actually mean?

Athletic Longevity describes the goal of maintaining athletic performance, energy, focus, mobility, and regeneration for as long as possible – not just living longer, but remaining high-performing for longer. The focus is on the "Performance Span": the years during which you can perform physically and mentally actively.

Studies show that athletic performance declines relatively linearly after an individual's peak – usually from the age of 30, depending on the sport. However, this decline can be significantly slowed down through training, regeneration, nutrition, and targeted supplementation.

What is ubiquinol (QH) especially good for in sports?

Ubiquinol (QH) is the bioactive, directly available form of coenzyme Q10. In sports, QH is primarily discussed in connection with energy production in the mitochondria – and at the same time in the context of antioxidant cell protection. Because when training and everyday life become stressful, "cell pressure" increases: oxidative stress increases and regeneration becomes more important.

In short: Ubiquinol is the long-term basic support over weeks (better coping with stress & being ready again) rather than a 30-minute kick.

Does Ubiquinol really help? Do you notice it immediately?

Many use ubiquinol (QH) as a routine supplement because the approach is rather long-term (stress phases, training blocks) – not “30 minutes before and then boom”. We recommend taking it for at least two to three months for the ingredient to take effect.

What is the difference between Q10 (Ubiquinone) and Ubiquinol (QH)?

Both belong to coenzyme Q10 – the difference is the form. Coenzyme Q10 comes in two forms:

- Ubiquinone (oxidized), which is the conventional coenzyme Q10

- Ubiquinol/QH (reduced, bioactive).

While Q10 (ubiquinone) must first be converted into ubiquinol in the body, QH (ubiquinol) is already present in the directly usable form – ideal when training, everyday life, and regeneration are all "pulling" simultaneously.

Especially with high stress and advancing age, the conversion from Q10 to QH in the body can be less efficient. That's why Evage's sports line relies on Ubiquinol (QH) – as a consistent background foundation: not as a quick boost, but as support for stress tolerance and recovery over weeks, as a permanent energy supplier for our cells.

Ubiquinol (QH) is often chosen when the bioactive form is preferred. Good to know: Ubiquinol is the bioactive form of Q10. It can be used directly by the body. Q10 must first be converted into QH in the body. In practice, what is often more important is the quality of the raw material and regular use. For QH, look for the branded raw material Kaneka Ubiquinol™, which stands for the highest quality and is 100% pure, natural ubiquinol from yeast fermentation.

When should I take bioactive Q10/ubiquinol – in the morning, evening, or before training?

For athletes, usually applies: daily with a meal (routine beats timing). If you want to take it "workout-adjacent": with a meal before training is often practical for everyday life – without a "fasted experiment", otherwise, it is always recommended with breakfast.

What is the recommended daily dosage of ubiquinol (QH)?

Many products use 100 mg of ubiquinol per day, as with Evage Elevate. What is "appropriate" depends on your goals, diet, and level of "athletic" exertion. If you are taking medication and are unsure, you should speak with your trusted doctor.

How long can I take Ubiquinol for?

100 mg ubiquinol can be taken long-term. The 100 mg dose is a safe dosage, but it can be adjusted if necessary with a doctor if your stress or activity is challenging.

Can the need for ubiquinol (QH) be met through diet?

Ubiquinol can be found in fatty fish, meat, nuts, soy, whole grain products, and legumes. However, it is difficult to ingest a meaningful daily dose without consuming excessive amounts of these foods. A 100 mg ubiquinol capsule is equivalent to 120 servings of sardines, 60 avocados, 34 chicken breasts, 100 tablespoons of canola oil, 1.5 kg of peanuts, 133 tablespoons of olive oil, 20 grass-fed steaks, or 11 kg of spinach.

Do Evage products contain banned substances or doping agents?

Evage relies on doping-safe active ingredients and develops its products specifically for active people and athletes. Our formulations are based on:

Vitamins
